TIPS for VIBRANT HEALTH

As the Earth becomes more and more polluted with the development of global warming, so do our bodies become polluted. Eating unhealthy food can create toxicities in our body-mind and spirit. Toxins in our blood system go into our tissues and also circulate continually, until we get rid of them completely. Toxins slow down metabolic rate and limit our ability to burn fat (they can make us fat, too). Chronic constipation can bring an accumulation of toxins in our body’s cells which, in the long term, can be dangerous. According to most research, when animals are given neuro-toxic foods for a period of time, their health and immune systems decline. So it is with humans. We can develop chronic fatigue, moodiness, headache, stomach upset, and memory loss…as well as a decline in energy level. Our digestive system is highly sensitive to emotional and toxic stress which may also cause, chronic arthritis, allergies, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer to develop.

When some pesticides exist in our food they may make changes in human genetics that will pass on through many generations. This is a major concern.

Wellness is our goal toward vibrant health. There are many fine ways to celebrate simple quality and well-balanced living through music, dance, reading, sports, etc. Every effort should be made to reduce toxins in our lives. One way is to enjoy eating simple, wholesome food. It is especially important to take time to chew our food thoroughly. Complete chewing mixes it with saliva to give us better digestion.

We need to nourish our body-mind and spirit with vital nutrients found in small amounts of virgin olive oil, herbs and spices, together with organically grown foods (in rich soil) including a variety of vegetables (especially green leafy vegetables), wild fish, fresh fruits (especially citrus), grains, legumes, some nuts and seeds, and good quality spring water. Clean air, walking in nature, meditation, deep relaxed breathing, yoga, and good normal sleep, all can reduce toxin intake, enhance toxin elimination, and rejuvenate the human body and mental clarity. Feeling the support of your spiritual connection raises your sense of well-being and encourages you to enjoy nourishing your body.

Let’s take time to nourish and flourish our mind and soul with positive thoughts. Let’s be thankful for our gift of natural resources. Clarity of mind is heightened when mind, spirit, and heart soar together on wings of harmony and its blossoms reward us with celestial wellness.

    
 

For good health, please avoid:
1. Food additives
2. Preservatives
3. Pesticides
4. Processed foods (as all contain unnecessary chemicals which can stress our immune system and have a negative effect on our vital health)


For normal diet, please try to use sea salt and only natural sugars. Avoid:
1.Refined sugar
2. Deep fried foods
3. Excessive animal fat
