I believe a healthy balanced diet of nutritional food gives us the best chance of obtaining the nutrients that our body needs for energy, building immunity, mental well-being, beauty and sustaining weight loss.

Ideally, we should choose whole food recipes that are packed with health benefits. Consuming additive free, wholesome balanced foods can empower, create extra energy, improve our feeling of well-being and help us gradually to maintain an ideal weight.

My series of holistic “TRILOGY” books will give you information related to cooking terms (tips and glossary), nutrition and nutrients, herbs and spices, food philosophy and meditation along with more than 1000 Recipes.


 

Can Ancient Nutritional Foods Help Weight Loss?

  • A few examples of wholesome foods:
  • Extra virgin olive oil,
  • Wild salmon,
  • Brown rice (instead of enriched white rice),
  • Honey /maple syrup/date sugar,
  • Fresh citrus fruits,
  • Green leafy vegetables,
  • Fermented foods (such as yogurt, sauerkraut and pickles).

We should also avoid foods that are over-processed, refined or that contain extra additives such as sugar and trans fatty acids (such as margarines).

It would be great if we could try to replace some animal-based foods with plant-based foods in our diet such as nuts, seeds, legumes and whole grains. It is helpful for the whole planet if we focus on plants and eat less meat.

Consuming a balanced diet of whole food, organically grown is essential!!
